Initial Consultation

During an initial consultation, the primary goal is to gain a clear snapshot of your child’s unique needs as well as the specific goals that you, as a parent, have for their reading development. This foundational discussion will help us understand how we can best support your child moving forward.

1:1 Customized Reading Lesson

Each lesson is thoughtfully individualized to specifically meet the unique reading needs and preferences of each individual student. Ensuring that their learning experience is not only engaging but also effective and enriching. This personalized approach allows us to address diverse learning styles, fostering a deeper understanding and love for literature.

Structured Reading

This comprehensive approach provides both beginner and struggling readers a valuable opportunity to learn explicit and systematic methods for effectively decoding words. At Little Readers’ Treehouse, we use the UFLI Foundations Phonics Program to deliver an organized, engaging, and effective schedule that is meticulously built upon the Five Pillars of Literacy:

The lessons are carefully and intentionally planned to help readers reach their full potential and have fun along the way in their reading journey!

The Five Pillars of Literacy

  • The awareness of individual speech sounds and the ability to consciously manipulate those sounds.

  • The knowledge, and memory of word meanings.

  • The relationship between sounds we hear in words and the letters (graphemes) used to spell them.

  • Understanding what is being read.

  • To read with speed, accuracy, and proper expression.

    This is the perfect package if your little one is just beginning their reading journey, requires extra support in foundational skills, or you are wanting to see the benefits of tutoring lessons.

    This package comes with 2 weekly lessons being 30 minutes each.

    Engaging and individualized to each child, lessons are created using a structured literacy approach.

    Our goal at Little Readers’ Treehouse is to engage children in their learning and inspire them to reach their full potential in reading.

    The Growing Readers’ package is suitable for any learner wanting to strengthen and grow their literacy skills. As with any package, children will learn to be independent in both their virtual and in-person learning journey from day one. With a structured literacy approach and tailored made lessons children will thrive in their learning and have fun in the process! 

    This package comes with 3 weekly lessons being 30 minutes each.

    Again, our goal is to engage children in their learning
    and help grow a love for reading!

    The Treehouse Readers’ package is for parents and caregivers who have noticed their child struggling with their reading skills and may need additional long-term support or homeschool families looking for effective reading instruction. With the Treehouse package children will be met where they are at with customized lessons to begin filling in gaps. 

    This package comes with 4 weekly lessons being 30 minutes each. 

    I am confident that through structured, consistent and engaging lessons, struggling readers can become confidentreaders.
